Over the past several months, I’ve been playing music much more that before. Another local Irish musician, Mitch Ferguson, asked me to play with him and we’ve been quite busy ever since. No, I have not left my other band Baile Daire (or my day job for that matter!) but have been playing with both. Mitch, Larry Kirwan, and I play in a band called Finvarra which is named after a faerie king of Irish folklore. Mitch is the founder and lead of the band and has been playing Irish music for a long time. The music we do is more “high energy” with more touches of Rock and Roll (ala Pogues or U2 unplugged).
